I have had the Bosio nozzels in for about 350 miles or one tank of fuel. I still have an itermittent rough idle or half a miss that wonders fron cylinder to cylinder. I wanted to again take the injectors out and have them tested for spray pattern and pop pressure. The injector shop advised me to take them appart and clean and inspect them before bringing them in.

Does this injector have herpes?

Looks like black rust coming from the body of the injector. I thought it was alge at first and thought it would just rub off with my fingers. No it is a hard black substance that appears to be growing from the injector nozzle. I cleaned it off with brake clean and a brass brush and you can see the stained or pitted area on the nozzel.

Any Ideas?
