There is a 1987 300D W124 listed here locally, its gold, looks beautiful in the pictures, but was hit in the driver side pretty hard (smashed quite bad). Its only about 23 miles from me, so I was wondering if it'd be worth it to try and get it as a parts car and sell stuff from it. Anyone here need parts from one? Interior looks mint, the rest of the body looks to be too. Engine is clean and shiny and he said it starts right up and drives/shifts fine. I could get it and pull/ship parts to people if there is a market here that would make it worth it.
