anti-freeze

Was wanting to drain my cooling system on the 240D. What do you think of the G05 anti-freeze? Would it be a good choice?

Been using it in the 300D and the Cummins/Ram for over 2 years now-no leakage, looks exactly the same as when it was put in!! Now if the rest of the Mercedes was that easy...

I just noticed in the last issue of Hot Rod Mag, Havoline has a phosphate free formula for DC cars now... I wonder what pricing it will come in at?

I searched tonight and I couldn't find the G05 anti-freeze anyplace. I did notice the Havoline anti-freeze at O'Rilley's auto parts store. Do you think it would be acceptable for a MB car? I really didn't notice the chemical make-up displayed on it.

Not unless it says PHOSPHATE FREE FOR CRYSLER on the front, I think it also says Special formula or something like that...
