I tried the engine enamel sold at most auto parts stores....good choice of colors,good price and a pretty tough durable coating....So far...no problems...just did the calipers .....might try the disks next.....Not real concerned about heat related, high performance brake issues on my old 240D....But I do not like to see an old rusty looking caliper when I have done all the work to rebuild them....
