Finding TDC on '82 300 SD?
I'm planing a valve seal replacement with the engine still in the car and have been advised on this forum to find TDC for each cylinder to avoid loosing a valve down into the combustion chamber.
So, how do I find TDC on each cylinder? Is there a special tool needed to remove/install the seals? And whem I'm done with the seals, the valve adjustment is the standard procedure or is there another procedure associated with replacing the seals? Is there any prep work for the seals prior to installation? Is there anything else I don't know about, since I don 't know nuthin? thanks! |
