Help me locate this vacuum connector!

Please see this diagram:
http://home.comcast.net/~phantoms/vacuum/engine2.jpg

I cannot find #71 which connects to the ARV, if someone can show me a picture or give me a description of where to find the connector I would much appreciate it!

Thanks,
Taylor

It should be a line that comes off the top of the valve cover, and drops down on the turbo side of the engine. I connects to your exhaust manifold. Mine is a brown line with a purple line on it, IIRC.

Actually it does not connect to the valve cover, look at the diagram. It connects to the same place as the EGR does, which is on the passenger side firewall.

I need help locating the the connector on the ARV itself. *EDIT* Ok I guess I should say I need help locating the connector on the "by-pass valve" as labeld per the diagram. But Im not sure if its also called the ARV?

This is a turbo with the ARV. The red arrow shows the black connector. (which the vacuum line is actually unhooked at the time the pic was taken) Is this what your looking for?

Hope this helps!

Its above the turbo inlet where the boot connects.

Yeah,

I just took off my air cleaner, my setup is different! There is no vacuum orifice on the turbo wheres yours is. Although it displays it on the diagram, this is strange could it be that it was plugged from the factory on the switchover valve?

Thanks,
T
