Heater blower

Car 84 300sd 617/126
Can anyone teal me where is the heater blower located on these cars?
I am getting a coolant smell true the vents, but not constant, only when first fen goes on,like a puff and after that nothing, fresh air goes in.
Anyone have any idea what can cause this?
I am thinking the heater core ,but if that is liking I would get the smell constantly right?

I'm not sure about the smell, but the heater blower is under/behind the glove compartment, or over the passenger's feet, depending on how you want to look at it.

if the leak is very small in the heater core it will do as you describe, until it fails more. I would get it changed

Your heater core is leaking and needs a new one.
