ML320 CDI= torquey fun

My friend just took delivery of a ML320 CDI and of course he took me for a ride in it.

By god its sooo quiet. Quieter than his 06 VW TDI(makes it sound like a big rig ha)

The CDI came with 4MATIC so all 4 tires are putting that V-6's power to the ground. The interior is beutiful and the seats must be a new type of MBTEX.

A guy down my street just got one of those. I've seen him pull out of the neighborhood a few times. Looks as if he througholy enjoys it. I should go down and talk to him about it.

They are fun and powerful, but look under the beauty cover and tell me if you want to be working on that a few years down the road?

I wouldn't want to have to replace any glow plugs, or a turbocharger on that thing! Imagine how age and heat will affect all the printed boards on that thing!

Nah, CI. It looks like the filter is in the same location as the M112 (driver's side front). That's about the only thing that seems inline with past MB engineering. The rest of it is a rat's nest.

Pictures like that make me the PROUD owner of a '99 E300DT, I will gladly change the fuel lines and rotate the GP's periodically.

Get the extended warranty and be rid of it before that expires.

I would take the RL for The Bride though.

There are dozens of gasser MLs in my area, but I haven't noticed any diesels yet. They're just another domestic AWD mini-van, I'll pass.

still include?? huh?

TheDon, talk to your local dealer and see what suggestions they have to offer to put you through elite. FYI, I never went the tech school route. Just 9 months at the School of Pep while fixing old 123's on the side...
