300d Climate Control
 

I just bought my first Merc diesel. 1983 300sd turbo. I can get hot air to come out of the defroster, but only cold air comes out the floor and dash front vents. The fan is strong, but there's only cold air coming out while hot air is coming out the defroster. Can any one help?

That is a strange problem. Try using the search function to see if others have had the same problem. It is usually that no air is coming out of certain vents because the vacuum pots or solenoids are bad, or there is an electrical problem that stops the signal getting to the vacuum solenoids.
