Need cross reference info

I will be doing some junkyard shopping for some of the clips that hold the sunvisors and make the electrical connection for the vanity lights.
Are the sun visor clips the same for ALL W126 chasis cars?
Are there other chasis that used the same part?
I need to know what other cars used the same so i have more options when I am shopping.

Thanks,

Isn't there an...

extensive cross reference database of MBZ parts OnLine somewhere... possibly found with a term that goes something like "Cross-Compatibility" ?
As a late Christmas gift I'd really like to know where such a WebSite is located!
Regards

Thanks,

all 126 and 124 are identical except perhaps for the color. And they are expensive! Call a dealer and then you'll consider paying $15 to $20 for a set on eBay!

Thanks,
On my junkyard trips, I am seeing fewer 123s and 126s. Used to be ( a year ago), I could count on seeing at least half a dozen of each of these types at each of my local yards.
On my trip yesterday, one yard had 2 W126 and not a single W123.
The other yard had 4 W126s and 2 W123w, one a coupe. There even a few earlier models, but I am not knowledgeable enough to tell you the models.
One did have a kugelfisher gas injection system. At first I thought it was a diesel, but then I saw the distributor.
