Another EGR, ALDA comment, with ?
 

Sealed off EGR, 1-2 trans shifts smooth now, 3-4 some hesatation, did not notice previously. Seems quicker off line. Still much black smoke on WOT. Adjusted ALDA 1/4 turn ccw, far less black smoke. Filled up less than 100 miles ago, awaiting mpg change, if any (current 24.5). Should I do anything to the ARV, if so, how? Anyone?

None of the vehicles in your sig have an ARV.

'83 SD. BC, I must have mistaken the front part of the turbo for ARV, intact. I wanted to experiment with EGR, stopped up a couple of vac lines. Intake gasket to arrive Thursday, considering a boost gauge as well. Would like to have all parts, knowledge, on hand when I start to install the kit. Radiator seeping coolant from upper hose clamp. New hose tomorrow. Will take CD to work tonight. tango, having camera issues. Workin' on it.

Will try to send photo. How do I know pic sent? I have end plugs on vac lines. The Don, I see you did not seal off vac lines, seems to be okay. Could you get a pic off the other sealed off EGR pipe?

I'll try something else.
