I really need to do something soon the car is really starting to look bad.
I'm not sure I want to put $5K in paint on a vehicle that I paid $2K for.

Be nice to find someone who will do a "decent" job for $3.5K. It doesn't need to win any auto shows......

Mine is now the neglected stepchild......banished to the outdoors and the elements.

Well mine cost me a bit more, I think about $13kish. I figure $3k-$4k for the paint the rest on the trim.

I think I may have a garage all year round now, so no elements.

With $3.5K in paint and another $1K on trim and bumpers and taillights, I've got a terrific vehicle with a #22 head and a pristine engine.

I still can't quite get all the bugs out of it, however. I has a drone at various engine speeds as if it needs engine mounts. But, supposedly, they were done already.

From the shops that I have talked to I think that $3k-$4k will give you a perfectly acceptable paint job. As long as there is not much body work. It needs to be mostly bang a few dents out prep and spray. If there is body work then the cost goes up.

From what I see on new cars these days, a $4k job looks about like that. Just with a lot less orange peel!

Forget picking over the color; the mode, size, and CONDITION of this car screens, "BIG BAD MERCEDES A COMING AT YOU!"
