I'm pretty sure he is in Europe on business.

I think he hasn't posted in several months, seams quite long for a business trip. It's odd that mercedesshop's number 1 poster with over 2000 posts has just disappeared from this site. |

I'm flattered by the concern
Everyone,
I haven't logged in for awhile, although I occasionally glance at MShop. Yes, I was in Europe for awhile, but that doesn't prevent my connectivity. We have a great service called PAL that lets us dial in via a local number from almost anywhere in the world. My trip ended up being in Baden, Switzerland rather than Stuttgart. That was disappointing for a Benz guy, seeing as how Stuttgart is such hallowed ground for us Benz folks. Also I was unable to get a set of salvage yard lights in Switzeerland. My work load has increased tremendously. That coupled with the fact that I am helping my daughter with her go kart racing is keeping me very consumed. Thanks for your concern, Larry PS If you are interested in understanding why I'm cooled off about logging into Mshop, read the "Mercedes to go NASCAR" thread in the Hot Rods section. That condescending attitude toward me and the South, coupled with my lack of time keeps me from logging in very often. LB [Edited by LarryBible on 05-07-2001 at 08:10 AM] |

Larry,
I would like to openly apologize for the comments I made in that post! They where very short sighted and very ignorant, and had no place on this board. My hope is that everyone can get along smoothly on this board. Hopefully we can put this incident behind us and move forward with what we all have in common here, Mercedes. Welcome back. |
