300 sd cold start
Hey guys,on the cold morning starts is normal for this cars for the motor to be little noise until worms up?
When I start the car on the morning she knocks a little but as soon as worms up she sounds perfect.is this normal or I have some kind of problem.

this is usually a sign of bad glow plugs. at least 1 anyhow. I think we warned you about the double glowing that was required when you bought the car. you may have a little problem with the valves needing adjustment also. to start smooth in cold weather, you need either perfect compression, or good glow plugs. if either, or both are bad, it will stumble when cold.

I am thinking the same think the plugs because no matter how cold at is she starts right up on the first revolution,but as I said she knock a little until worms up after that she is smooth as can be...........
I have to tray to plug her in over night and see what she is going to sound like than.
