Unhappy Fresh Air???

Is there a setting on the climate control or anywhere that will just let fresh air in w/out using the obvious fan? Man I have been wondering about this for days?

LOST!!

Do you have manual or automatic climate controls?

Assuming ACC, owners manual states economy mode (second from right most push button) will not allow AC to engage. Does not state if allows outside air in. Also push lower of three fan speed buttons. To keep on low. It does recomend to push off button to keep outside air from entering cabin. Hope this helps.

That's one of the biggest drawbacks to the Mercedes Automatic Climate Control. Fresh air will enter the cabin from all settings, but there is no way to use air pressure generated by the vehicles foward movement to vent the cabin. You will need to run the fan constantly.

The 240D allows air to enter the cabin, even with the fan off.

pulling the fuse on the fan works... cause it's the only way I would have heat at the moment... forward motion causes air to move across the heater core.
