Repair My 87 300D ACC ?

Has anyone sent their ACC to Programa for repair, or anywhere else? Mine needs an overhaul and Im out of town next week. Thinking about pulling it out and sending off for repair, I heard Programma does the repair

anyone?

I can live with the fact that the ACC never shuts off. If you press the off button hard and hold it, it will shut off, but as soon as you release the pressure on the off button it comes back on.

What sucks is the car is running AC 100% of time, regardless of temp. I dont know if that has anything to do with ACC, Im betting it does.

You will be betting about $300-$400 that it does - if you feel lucky go for it.

I think a better path would be to do some diagnostic work before your rebuild the control panel. The W124 climate control system is absurdly complex and it has many failure points but the factory service documentation for the system is complete and detailed.

Programma and Beckman Technologies both have pretty good reputations as sources for rebuilt MB control modules.
