The results are not making sense.

One last test.

Put the high beams on and run the test again on the left headlight.

Ok, hi-beams LF results. #4=12.24, #5 & #6 could not get a reading.

I'm just in a quandry of what you have there.

Can you do some tests on socket #2?

Check it for voltage with the ground lead on the negative battery battery terminal.

If you get voltage then report back.

If you don't get voltage, then switch the meter to resistance and see if you have continuity to ground on that socket.

It sounds like #2 is not the ground socket and the double brown wire is not inserted into #2 and our testing is completely inconclusive.
