Ive got a kind of clacking noise from the front of my engine . It only does it just above up from tickover, approx 1000 rpm. There seems to be about 5 degrees of wear on the camchain.
Any ideas

I'm pretty sure 5 degrees is beyond the tollerance for a timing chain to stretch. I think you're due for a new one...I wouldn't wait.
