W123 Spindles

Is their any difference at all between a right front spindle off of a 1984 W123 300D and that of a 1985 W123 300D right front spindle?

Without any personal knowledge, I'd make a bet that they are identical.

Probably the same unless the 85 has ABS.

Nope, no ABS.

It would make sense the spindles are the same on the 85 as on the 79... What fool would change them in the last model year anyways.

It was odd that the ball joint I had just slipped in with no effort. I had to buy one at the dealer and have it put in. meh.. always happens to me

It felt odd being at the dealership. I felt like I did not fit in. But I did see an identicle W123 of mine on the way.. the owner was all waving at me and stuff.

Same here. I was just at the dealership for parts. They wanted $2.89 PER trim berry and $54 for the drivers side washer nozzle.

There are some good points to going to the dealer... I got to play with an R320 CDI. Didn't get to drive it but I got to explore it's interior electronic features and poke around the engine bay until they figured out I had no intention of buying one.

I could have gotten $3000 trade in value for my 300D because I asked nicely... They let me play around in the E320 Bluetec....

I was listening to a service advisor on the phone and apparently the loaner Bluetec they had out to some other owner put gas in it!!!! What an idiot... its not cheap.. the car wont turn over and word has it the injection system is trash... heheh i know where I can get a new diesel V-6 cheap
