Electrical wiring attached to drivers seat

can anyone tell me about a possibility of electrical wiring runing along my floorboard under my drivers side seat and attached to what looks like a tiny encased motor, or fuse, etc.... I have an 85 300cdt, no heated or motorized seats... I am perplexed.

I am going to remove the seat to try the pool noodle fix on my worn out springs.

I think it's for seat belt buzzer.

Could the tiny, encased motor be just an electrical connector?

What he is seeing as an encased motor may just be the seat belt spindle where the sender lives.

Maybe it's a vacuum line for your seat lock feature. The seatbelt warning wire is black...
