Smoke from... IP side?
 

85 300D. Smoke coming from IP when car is warm, suggestions? I have tried to shine a light etc down there but cant see where its coming from. Also injector #3 is leaking from top it appears, however loosening at pump has no different affect.

Thats your problem... I've had leaky injector housings and sometimes the leaked diesel would smoke slightly off the engine block. Fix your leak and the smoke will go away.

As to what is leaking... could be your fuel return lines (those black hoses going from injector to injector), the nut on top of the injector, or the injector housing itself. Its most likely those return lines.

The return lines are intact and its def leaking from around the nut as the whole injector is wet. I tightened the top nut a bit well see how things go.
