Angry Shell and tube heat exchanger

I bought a shell and tube heat exchanger from e-bay. Can any one tell me the best way to install it on a 1985 300sd.Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Perhaps you could elaborate on what you want to use it for.

I blend my fuel and I want to heat it up with the heat exchanger before the injection pump. I want to make sure I get it tied in correctly

Is it a shell and tube or concentric tubes (hose-in-hose)?
A shell and tube would have a small tube running back and forth a bunch of times inside a chamber (the shell), in which case the fuel would go through the small tube and the coolant through the big chamber. In a HIH, the fuel goes in the center tube and the coolant flows in the outer tube in the opposite direction of the fuel flow.
Good luck.
