Smile Another Mercedes Video

Sorry, I found this and it was hard to watch. But I could not believe what I saw. I am sure that engine had 2-300,K Miles on it too. I think people like this should be taken out back and beaten with a rubber hose..... But what can you do. Also the sound track sucks!!!
Enjoy Jay

yeah this is sad but did you see what they had to do to kill it. It ran for like 3 mins at full throttle with no coolant. then they had to hydolock it twice to get it to stop. one hydrolock in any typical engine pretty much destroys it. this video is just a testament to how well these engines really are.

Pretty funny, looks like a total shot car and engine so no loss really.

Don't they have contests where they redline an old engine and people place bets on how long it runs till it overheats and stops? I think a 616 would be a good candidate.

It's still painful to watch even if the engine is toast. If I had one that was on its last legs, I would take it to a demolition derby and have some fun. I've always wondered how one of these cars would do out there.
