Can the fuel sending unit be rebuilt or bought used? $200 is a bit high in my opinion. Does anyone know where to get a deal on one of these?

Have you tried pulling it out and cleaning it? They get really gunked up, which can cause problems.

First remove it and check archives for people that have dealt with their units before. If your is not salvagable one from a salvage yard should do. If you land up wanting a brand new one shop around. I think I have seen them new for much less than 200.00 somewhere.
