How to tell the manufacturer of nozzles?
How can I tell which make of nozzle this is, and where it was made?
If I wrote them down correctly, the numbers on my nozzles are below. ANOSD240. I don't recall if they had the “/” after the 240 or not. I didn't know to look for that until after I had put the injector back together. They also had the letters FD enclosed in a shield looking symbol. All the posts I've searched say it should actually be DNO, not ANO, so I'm wondering if I mis-read them. What is weird about them is I did not see the cross drilled pintle that I expected. It seemed to be more of the flat type, as under the magnifying glass, I could see a slight flat edge on the side of the tip of the pintle. But the pintle also had a hole in the middle of it. |
Let me ask another way....
Will the nozzles Bosch is making now always have "Bosch" written on them? Mine don't say Bosch, but they do have the letters FD written inside a shield-looking symbol. Are they Bosch? |
here's a whole bunch of MB nozzle part numbers for the 617.912, none of which resemble what you orig posted.
If you are reading them from the nozzle they are prob vendor numbers rather than MB. Try looking them up on Bosch's site. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp?TP=1&F=123130&M=617%2E912&GA=722%2E118405&GM=716%2E005++++++++++++++717%2E400&CT=M&cat=1 43&SID=07&SGR=105&SGN=03 |
