Torque Speed Curve for 617 300D Engine?

I'm curious if there is a published Torque-Speed Curve for our 617 series engines. This is more for curiousity sake than anything else.

Thanks ahead of time!

From driving experience I would say it develops a good amount of torque between about 900 and 4000rpm, with the "most" being available between 1900 and 3000rpm or so

I have a brochure from 1985, net hp 123 @ 4350 rpm, net torque 184 @ 2400 rpm. All figures federal. There is a curve graph, the net info looks like peak to me, above info provided under specifcations. Max no load engine speed-5200 rpm.

R. Leo put his 300TD (i think) on a dyno and posted the power curves, it's pretty cool, do a search for it.

Is that your 240D or 300TD? If it is the 300TD, is it stock?

uhh, his sig shows a few mods, and the desire for intercooler... looks like a 240D with a turbo 617 from the TD installed...
and since the thread was asking for a curve for a 617...

It's in my 240D that has an OM617 installed. The engine is from my 300TD.

The difference between the three power curves is from the water-methanol injection. 1st curve- no injection, 2nd- pure water, 3rd- 50% water 50% methanol.

Call me stupid I only see 2 runs in there. I assume water/methanol injection is the run with the power at the top of the range?

There are three runs on there. The pure water had little/no effect so it pretty much followed the same power curve as the no-injection run.
