i know about ebay, i have been trying to get my hands on some super perfect ones that i can repaint once i get to repaint the 300D. But for the brown 240D, it will never get a repaint, and so i am looking for brown ones. i was going to post in the for sale section also, but just not had the time until now. thanks for the info

I don't have any in brown, but I am happy to see folks that like the hubbies. I may never have Bundts again on a W123.....
I need to repaint the ones on the Squash. They are terrible.....

And thanks to Vahe for my white ones.....

Painting the hub caps is not difficult if you can find a can of spray paint to match. Mask the entire cap with masking tape, then cut out the "waste" with an exacto knife.

tangofox007 is correct. About 25 years ago I painted the hub caps on a
190SL that I owned. It worked perfectly and the paint looked great until the day I sold the car about 15 years later. Get a pint of the brown mixed at an auto parts place that handles paint. A friend with an air compressor and a touch up gun or a production gun will have it done in ten minutes.

Check with Whunter on the parts forum- He just posted a thread about 123 wheel covers.
