TD for sale in Denver 4k

http://denver.craigslist.org/car/284458519.html

Looked at it today. It's at Startech. 221k. No rust. Interior ok. Dirty but not rips. Typical soft driver's seat. Blue tex does not age as well as Palomino. I'd plan to redye the seats if I were to buy it. Battery was dead, couldn't start it. Looked like it had new oil cooler lines. Cracked windshield Couple of other people were looking at it today also.
Not a bad deal at $4k given Ebay prices for wagons. Tires good. Has a hitch but interestingly, it must have been overloaded because the bumper is cracked where the hitch attaches.

If you're interested, my Indy (in Denver) is (more or less) trying to sell his 82 TD. It looks pretty clean (white), as I recall it has 100+K miles (I may be wrong about the mileage). He probably wants more than $4K, but I didn't really ask. I don't think he's in a big hurry to sell it. If you're interested, PM me for his contact info.

They probably could not afford the bill. Was it being sold by the owner or through a mechanics lien?

Yup, but they do good work. They put my engine back together after it ate the vacuum pump, you don't want to know the price.

The owner placed the ad but Startech seems to be managing the sale. Key has a Startech tag on it.

I'm not really in the market for one but it's only about a half mile from my house so I had to stop and look at it.

Sandor diagnosed by thump in the rear correctly and fixed it by greasing the Cv joints. Said the problem was partly caused by a maladjusted SLS height.

Not good. I live on Irvington Place just west of Broadway. It's a cul-de-sac, dead ending just west of Broadway.
