does this wagon look familiar
Is this the same wagon POS sold this summer? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-MERCEDES-300-TDT-DIESEL-WAGON-58-232-MILES_W0QQitemZ180090559920QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6330QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Buy it now price reflects some serious inflation because I don't think it went for near that! I've given up on wagons.

I think its just been relisted...its the same pictures and location, but I don't remember that retardedly high buy-it-now price.
Why is it a POS?

I have never seen a 1985 W123 with a manual moon roof.
It sure is clean. |

I believe all 123 wagons have manual sunroofs, all three of ours do, including an `85

Folks, I think that yellowbenz is referring to fellow forum member POS. See this thread about the wagon he was selling back in July of last year.
Looking at the VINs in the two auctions, I think he's right! |

Either way, they've tried to sell that wagon before...from CT, and with those same pictures, I had it being watched in my ebay. Is it really worth that much? The insurance appraiser said mine was worth 2600...of course it has 5 times the mileage

Does anyone recall the previous price paid at auction? I know it did well but once again I don't think it hit 18000.

The Buy it Now is just ignorant, but the wagon does look very clean. Still, a clean wagon isn't worth as much as they appear to be selling for.
Oh, and my '85 has a manual sunroof. I think they all do. No where to put the motor.... Both my 240's have manual sunroof also!!

For 18 grand
you should get the rear headrests. I know this has been asked before. Where the heck do all those headrests go?

I believe the wagons without third row seats did not have second row headrests as OE.

With all the safety features on an MB?
They decided to leave out the rear headrests. That's bizarre.

With the third row seat backwards, I think the second row headrests were designed to stop second and third row heads from knocking together.
