Front Passenger window motor replacement 1987 w124

I took out my window motor yesterday and put the new one in today. I had searched and searched the site and could not find a tutorial. I have not put the door panel back on yet, so I will try to get some pictures and add it to what I will write below.

The panel was a PITA to remove.
1. Pop off the panel covering the wire going to the mirror.
2. Pull off the switch covers on all of the seat controls. They just pull right off.
3. Remove the C-clip on the main seat switch. That is the only thing holding the seat control trim cover on.
4. Unscrew and remove the lock knob.
5. Swing the light cover out on the light at the bottom of the door. Then pull the assembly out and unplug it.
6. Pop off the extra plate up by the seat controls & the door knob.
7. With a 10mm socket, remove the bolt holding the door handle in place.
8. Slide the plastic piece that goes around the door knob forward a bit and then pull it out a bit to get it free.
9. Starting at the bottom, push up on the panel until it pops free. Be patient. And try not to break anything.
10. I got everything but the top free without too much trouble. Then I reached up and pushed directly on the inside of the top until it popped free.

With the door panel off you will have direct access to the terminal strip where power is brought in and connected to the wires that run up to the motor. Black wires on the left terminal. Green wires on the right terminal. (I should not matter as long as it is green wire to green wire, and black wire to back wire.) This would be a good time to disconnect the motor wires and try applying 12 volts directly to the motor. Negative on one wire and positive on the other. Reverse the wires to reverse the direction of travel. If your motor is like mine you wil get some good sparks when you hook up the wire and nothing will happen in either direction. My motor is shot/frozen.

If your motor works then you could hook up a multimeter to the input wires, set to handle 12 volts DC. Then press the window switch in one direction then the other. One way you should get +12V. In the other you should get -12V. If not then the trouble is either with the car battery (wouldn't working on a car with no battery make you feel dumb?), the fuse to the window (you should have checked that already), the switch (you should have checked that already also), or the InterConnecting Wiring (ICW).

Now for removing the motor.
1. There are three nuts that need to come out. They are 10mm and easy to spot. (Pictures will be inserted later.)
2. Remove the two 10mm nuts that hold a 6 inch long horizontal track and remove the track. This track supports the forward part of the window. this will allow it to pivot down once you get assembly free in the next step.
3. Once those are loose you will need to pry on the inner door panel and the motor/gear assembly to get the motor/gear assembly free from the door.
4. Rotate the assembly down and back to allow you access to the three bolts that mount the motor to the gear.
5. Remove the three 10mm bolts that attach the motor to the gear.
6. Wiggle the motor around and bust the sucker loose.
7. Do the reverse to put the new one in.

My questions:
1. Will the Molylube assembly grease that I used to grease everything be ok? I used it to grease the gears on the motor and the big half moon gear that the motor attaches to. I used it to grease the verticle and horizontal tracks that the window sissor opening thing rides in.
2. Where can I get some like what was already in there?
3. Is there anything that I should do or look at while I have the door apart?
4. There was a white plastic washer leftover. About 1 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick. Any ideas where it goes?

-Jim
