I saw it fly over Houston today. At first, I mistook it for the Lufthansa Boeing 747 used on the Frankfurt-Mexico City flight that flies directly over Houston enroute.

I think I saw that car cover go over my house a few days ago, Bill. There was a guy in a lawn chair trailing along right behind it.

Was wondering where my son got to. Did you see where he landed? He owes me $10 bucks.

Cheers,

Bill

He better not have my cooler too. He already owes me $10 for the chair!

Update on the cover I bought from Griots.....

After almost 2 years the seam in the back was coming undone and the elastic around the bottom was shot resulting in the cover not staying on. Complained to Griots and they sent me a brand new one free. Nice to have someone on the net that actually responds when there's a problem.

Only complaint I have is there is no pocket for the hood star. Haven't liked that from the start and still don't.

Otherwise an excellent cover.

My original cover that blew away was from Performance Products. I think that one was as good as the Griots cover and it had the pocket for the hood star. None the less because Griots stood behind their product I will buy my next one from them.

Thanks Griots!

It polishes mine.

I got the $70 fabric wally cover. I had a Tyvek one. But, it kept blowing off. I liked how cool the Tyvek kept the car. Almost unbelievable!

I have had the wally cover since Feb. and it is holding up pretty well. I use it daily. The elastic is hanging in there. It is not water proof though. It dries quickly once the sun comes out.

I cannot remember if they had one big enough for a wagon. They had quite a selection at this wally. Don't get the RainX one. It is crap, flys off into the next county and is NOT water proof like they claim.

I'm thinking, next time I'll go custom.

My Griots cover keeps the car cool so it must be Tyvek...don't know. But sunlight will not penetrate it. Very water proof too...for a while.

The wallys I've checked do not have one big enough for the wagon.

my covers that stay on the cars parked outside {all of mine} are from Walmart. I only get a year out of any that I buy, so now I just buy the cheap one every spring. They eventually wear out/rip from the wind battering and sun degradation.
Many years ago I had a fabric one for my old Chevy pickup. That thing must have lasted 5-8 years!!!

You don't have any problems with the covers flapping against the paint and causing the car equivalent of rug burn? (that's the only way I could think to put it )

Jimmy's getting a nice wagon fabric cover. I don't think rug burn will be an issue with this one.
