Change Right front electric window regulator to crank?
I would like to change the motorized RF window regulator to crank operated on my 1985 300D Turbo. Anybody have any thoughts on whether this would be a relatively simple procedure or not?

Pretty straightforward. Find a manual window assembly from a 240D, swap everything out, and cut a hole in the door panel for the crank handle.
The only problem you would have is a useless button on your center console. |

My PO had that done when the drivers window burned out. Had it converted to a manual crank. SO now i only have 1 power window, and another useless switch. teh
