2nd to 3rd shift......

Hey guys,I think I have vac leak somewhere my transmission is not shifting right from 2na to 3rd,I don't know where to start to look for this problem,any suggestions and comments are welcome.

You'll need to provide a bit more information.

Is it too hard or too soft? Too high rpm's or too low rpm'?

Or does it feel like it's not engaging (slipping aka flaring)?

Depends on the problem. Mine will quick shift 2-3 sometimes. It's time for a K1 spring. I'll be replacing that at the next fluid/filter change.

Soft shift, and she like to rev between the gears,and if you don't let of the gas between the shifts she wants to rev high.....

That my friend is a flare.... adjustment can help but you are mostlikely looking at piston replacement. I am not a tranny specialist though. mine did similar from 3/4 and the sleeve and piston needed replacement, due to leakage of pressure around the o-rings from hardening due to age.

Dude please explain what piston, is this located inside the transmission?
and one more think, I also can hear when shifting something like a air blow,only in 2nd to 3rd.

No way to say this without analysis first. I've had similar problems which were fixed by adjusting the vacuum modulator valve...

Dude please teal me what is modulator valve where is located?
