Will this fit my car?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/R4-Compressor-1984-88-Buick-Chevy-Pontiac_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33543QQitemZ220030463031QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

the same seller has one saying its for mercedes at $149, but I thought they were all the same??

Specs listed for the mercedes one:

Fitting Type: O-Ring
Switch Type: High Side Pressure
Number of Grooves: 1
Clutch Diameter: 4.93"
Mounting Distance: 1.12"
Coil Type: Spade
Coil Position: 9:00

Specs for this one:

Switch Type: High Side Pressure
Number of Grooves: 1
Clutch Diameter: 5.40"
Mounting Distance: 1.12"
Coil Type: Spade
Coil Position: 9:00

only difference I see is the clutch diameter... shouldn't make that big of a difference

Ask for pulley diameter and shaft diameter.

They are not the same.

There is an oil passage to the front seal which must sit in the proper place once the compressor is installed. M-B mounts theirs low, GM mounts it high, and they sit at different attitudes.

It lists the 190E on the list for that one tho... If that won't work, I'm going junkyard... $60 is already way too much for me to spend

It won't fit both a GM and M-B application, regardless of what the seller claims. Besides, that one is rebuilt.

I wouldn't use a rebuilt R4. Used, maybe. New, probably.
