$350 for a running 240 d

Hopefully no one wants to kill me at the end of this post!

Just picked up a '78 240 D. It runs fine and drives fine but the cancer has gotten to her. The beautiful thing is that it has a 4 spd.

Thing is though is that I also have a cj 7 with a sick motor. Ya see where this is going.....

Get in touch with me for wants/needs. I am an hour and half west of the Windy City.

Hey all,

Yeah the CJ is going to rattle. Everyone thinks I am nuts, but it seems pretty logical to me. What I try and tell everyone is that this jeep is for plowing and goofing off in. I am not going to drive it to colorado tomorrow!

Therefore, my fabrication although solid will be on the rudimentary side. If it works out well though, I may expand my efforts and do soemthing a little different.... We'll see.

The is pretty bad. But I am a scrounger and there are alot of good parts left. I am taking the motor and trans. and possible some other stuff but all related to the swap. I would like to get rid of it as a whole but will consider parting it for the right price.

Let me put it this way. I am thinking for the remainder of the car I would let it go for $150. Any takers let me know.
