Clanking and smoking
MY car has suddenly started to clank very loud when cold and smoke at idle. I have noticed this since I switched to ULSD. The clanking improves somewhat after warmup but the car still smokes.
What mite this be and where do I begin?

try a diesel purge, and check your fuel filters, the ULSD has a tendancy to loosen stuff up in the tank...
