What kind of grease?
Going to be replacing my steering knuckle and doing a ball joint as soon as the new ball joint shows up in the mail.. What kind of grease do I put in the wheel hub? And in the ball joint, since I will be removing the boot?

Any good quality high temp wheel bearing grease should be good.

Agreed, use high temp grease from a known company. The ball joints are sealed. Replace, if necessary.

You probably know this, but perhaps not. If you're not absolutely sure of the base soap used in the current grease, be sure to get it ALL out. If you are sure, use the same stuff and nothing else.
