Does Nashville, TN have emission testing on diesel? Gassers?

Going to be moving to TN, likely Nashville area, do you have emission testing there?

Emissions testing

Yes. Metropolitan Nashville (Davidson County) has vehicle emissions for diesel and gas engines.

Thanks. Probably outside of the city limits, good to know what I'm getting in to. Is there a cutoff for age?

I know that Sumner County (to the north of Davidson County) also has emissions inspections on diesels made after 1973 (or 1974).

All they do is a Opacity test, which none of my cars has had a problem passing.

I just always make sure that my cars are up to operating temperature before I go.
