OH. Its a euro? With a THREE PIECE front? I've never seen that before. That radio alone is worth some $$$ |

i thought the trans would work with the 3.0L diesel
|
it is a EURO but what do you mean "3 piece front"?
|
3 piece
3 piece bumper. Only the early 123's had them.
|
3 piece bumpers were found on "high model" euro cars, i.e. the 230 and 280ce's as well as the 280e.
My red euro has an LMKU. Great radio. |
Actually all Euro 123's had the "three piece" bumpers. My 84 200 in South Africa had them. The single piece was a US specific bumper.

my 85 euro TD is single piece bumper, it is the small euro bumper, but it's single piece.

Can you post a pic of that? Never seen on of those.

I would buy it but living in an apartment limits
what/where I can park. Drat, its cheap and close too. Louis. |
3 piece was a 280 and up specialty. All others got 1 piece. Feds are all 1 piece. Coupes were only diesels to get 3 piece.
|
There were no diesel coupes for the european market, the were a US/Canada only product. Many updated the bumpers on euro 123's for that high end look. Same goes for the square headlight before 1983. Only the 230 and 280ce's plus 280e's had them. The rest were the round style.
This is the euro 1 piece, it has the rubber endcaps: http://www.maj.com/gallery/Boardmong...euro-grill.jpg This is the euro 3 piece. Note there are no endcaps, instead it rounds off smooth: http://www.maj.com/gallery/Boardmong...ean-chrome.jpg |
