Have a 1991 350 SD. The blower was working fine then quit all of a sudden. Two days went by then it stated working again. Now it stopped again and wont turn back on.Is there a relay somewhere that can be checked or a main wire i can ckeck to see it current is getting to the blower.Anyone have an idea on what could be going on.Thanks

The blower motor is usually the cause of most blower problems, intermittent or noisy, they have internal brushes that wear out and bronze bushings which go dry and get stiff. The first and easiest place I would start with is getting to the connector on the motor, try turning it on with the key on, if it still wont work, leave the key on, pull the connector off and measure voltage across the pins, the voltage might vary with the lower speed settings on the switch but there should be voltage present on all speeds, then go back from there if its dead, or replace the motor if theres voltage.

I'd go with VSTECH's advice. I got a month more from the blower on my 300tdt by removing and cleaning. My 300SD blower hasn't acted up. BTW, the blower assembly is not interchangeable between the 300D & SD. Good luck.
