Fuel line quick connects?

I am looking for a better way to set up my fuel lines with quick connect/disconnects to ease filter change and diesel purge cleaning. Anyone have a link for something like this? Is there anything out there that will not suck air in and last with fuel ?

I want something a little less messy when changing the primary filter. Remember I am running grease.

I have seen quick disconnects but that was for larger (1/2"ID and larger) hose... Grease or diesel your going to get messy my friend.. just depends .. which smells better to you

I'll be interested if you find something, but good luck. A lot of guys, myself included, have replaced the OEM quick connects on the Ford Powerstrokes due to them allowing air into the fuel system. Simple hose clamps seem to work well, even for the once every six months that I change the primary filter on the MB.

I did come across these. I've never used them. Are these along the line of what you're looking for?

I suppose that you could get some wire hose clamps to replace the gear or screw ones that are on the fuel lines. But I really don't think there's a way to make it much easier. It only takes about a minute as it is.

I have done my 03' 7.3 as well. Go FTE!!
I was thinking of something like an air hose connection, but can not find anything. I now use two pair of vise grips. Maybe I can use some valves before and after the filter. I have been thinking about this after last week I ran down a fuel line air leak at the clamps to the filter. Too many open and close for the rubber hose. I am using a Purulator see through inline fuel filter with replaceable filters, that works great. My oil is very clean, but this filter will catch everything..........even in diesel!!! I always have one clean to replace the old and even clean the filter one time and use again before I ditch it.
