Replacing braided fuel line question.
Hello
Braided line is weeping on my '87 603. I have new line from MB and a question. How much fuel will come out when I remove the old line to replace them? Specifically the 1st line from the fuel filter to the injector. And the small lines between the injectors. I did a search and did not see any info on this. Thanks in advance for the help. |
Not much, but I had the injector lines off already. Nothing a wadding of paper towel couldnt handle.

Thanks.
So nothing like a gallon? Is the a great necessity to be in a hurry to install the new line after I remove the old? Also anything else that I need to know about doing this? Cheers |
It is very basic.
You dont want to drive around for weeks on end w/o the new line installed as the inj's will drip and it will get messy. Remove each piece and then use it to measure and cut the new piece. Dont lose the metal plug at #5. |
plug would be on #6 on a 603...
