Question Need info on '84 300SD

Hello,

I'm taking a look at the above mentioned car, hoping to add it my "fleet" of diesels and would need some opinions or advice as to what I should be looking for. The car has 163,000 miles and has had some repairs, all power options are working, including the a/c, and the tranny shifts smooth. I just need to have an idea what to look for while checking it out, or potential issues I should be aware of with that vintage of MB. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Check for rust around the jack points and in the corners of the trunk just behind the rear wheel wells (under the plastic liner). Rust is the biggest problem.
