Auto to Manual Windows

The two passenger side windows on my 1983 300D are not working at the moment. I can hear the motor turning in the front one, and the button is stuck on the back one. (It might work if it weren't for that) I haven't gotten around to tackling this issue yet, but I was wondering before I start, if anyone on here has ever converted their auto windows to manual windows. If it's not too much trouble I think I may try doing that instead of keeping them automatic.

why not...

I think that's a totally doable project..assuming you find a donor car for the necessary trim bits (including the new console without switches!)

Good luck.

I think I'd keep my console just to confuse my passengers.

Sure, check and see if you have them. I may be interested depending on the cost.
