Went to Reno... how may SDs in Reno?

I went to Reno and parked my car at the Circus Circus. While there is did not drive my car at all. i came back the next day to leave and found my car... it was covered in car chalk and aparently I had just been married. sad thing is i went to reno with my roommate... it must have been one of those Civil Unions... lol

Maybe someone painted the wrong car? Got a working odo? someone could have taken it for a spin.. These things aren't exactly hard to hotwire, did mine a few times while I had the key switch taken apart..

At least it was chalk. That could have been bad.

I was up in Truckee yesterday, how was driving the SD in the rain and snow?

I wouldn't have wanted to drive anything else. I have a friend in Applegate, and i was going to take his litlte Toyota MR2 to save on the fuel. but once i saw there was going to be bad weather i said forget that I wanna be in the Benz. I was a little anoyed by the fact that i was driving behind those trucks dumping the salt. but over all it was a nice drive even with the rain and snow.

Luckily Caltrans does not use salt, well at least on most occasions. They typically use hot sand (with the COOLEST heating method ever, the exhaust stacks on the trucks are routed under the dump bead to heat it all up and runs out the back by the spreader) but do on rare occasions use salt. The gravel is better for the undercarriage, but if your too close, there are occasionaly larger rocks that can and will scratch paint.

I think I saw 2 or 3 cars upside down yesterday. People need to learn to drive in the snow.

I was racing the snow. it was falling but not on the ground yet. I put on a set of 15s with the 255 75 15 tires and all i have for chains are the ones that came with the car... so i was thinking the whole time how i better not have to find out if those chains fit. but i was lucky and came home before it got bad.

Well, Maybe some nice, new couple, used your car simply as a backdrop, for a photo.

" Look Ma' I came out to Reno, won big, at the Casino, bought a Mercedes, and met the woman of my dreams. Here's a pic of her and I together in front of my new car !!!, What do you think?" Just to give mom a heart attack...
