Need Torque Spec for Suspension Rebuild

Hello All,

I am getting ready to rebuild my suspension on my 300D and I need the torque spec for the replacement of the following pieces.

Center link
Steering Damper
Tie rod Assembly
Idler Arm Rebuild
Lower control arm
Lower ball joints
Guide rod mount - Lower control arm end
Guide rod mount- chassis end
Upper control arms
Upper control arm sway bar bushings
Shocks

It's all in the Mercedes Service Manual for W123, available on CD from your dealer or by calling 1.800.for.merc.

It's a lot of work looking all that up from a cd why don't you go out and get a Haynes manual?

All Ft lbs. Pitman arm, center link?..22mm nut 103 to 132,24mm nut 118 to 147...track rod and drag link bolt 26...track rod clamp bolt 15...steering gear bolts 51-59...steering arm nut 59...steering damper bolt 33...steering wheel nut or screw59...steering shaft coupling bolt 18. This is from Haynes.

more specs

All Nm now, this from the MB Service Manual. Shocks, bottom bolts tighten with loctite 20, top the rubber bushing will need to be squeezed a little, should have instructions with new shocks. UCA hex bolt bearing to front end, 80...hex nut of guide joint, 40...hex bolt of UCA support to torsion bar, 65...tie rod ends, can't find, I would go with 80, same as steering knuckle.
