trans swop 123 to 126
I have a 83 300sd with a bad trans. Will the trans from a 84 300d work. Any help will be appreciated Thanks Steve

the trans will work, but you will have to swap over the tailshaft to get the flex disk and the speedometer emitter to connect.
the D is mechanical, the SD is electronic. John Actually, I think the flexdisks are the same.

They will swap, but you won't have a working speedo unless you change the tailhousing.
