w116 300SD euro light question (air intake tube)
i installed my euro lights about 6 months ago, i immediately noticed that the air intake for the engine goes directly through the headlamp assembly so i bought some extra hose and routed it from another area. just curious what others have done in this situation,
before i installed mine i noticed a 116 sd that would come into the shop and the right side headlight was discolored severely, so my guess is he hadn't rerouted the tube and was sucking air through the headlamp.

another thing is when air intake is relocated that leaves the back of the headlamp open to dirt and moisture,

I'd love to find some euro headlights for my W116. I think they look really good in that body.
