katmac imports euro lights?

are they any good? Worth the money .. etc etc? The euros I might buy need new lenses and new lights.. but they are vac adjust.. where as the katmacs are 250$ total and have it all except the vac adjust.

I have a set, but I have never had a chance to compare to the bosch. They seem to be good though. The seller seems to be reliable.

I have some that I haven't really figured out yet. The adjusters you use to adjust the vertical/horizontal pattern are too tight and don't work properly. I think you have to take it apart and loosen a locknut that's under the knob. Problem when you do that is the whole assembly struggles to fit back together if you loosen the nut.

I still want to take them apart again and have another crack at it.

I did mount them... they look good and all but I'd like to be able to get them aimed right! They're made in Taiwan IIRC.

Mine seem to be OK. Not perfect light dispersal, but better than the stock American (Ford Galaxy) lights.

I've had two other sellers of these things tell me that their Depo headlamps have the vac adjust, but neither one has backed up his claim with pics of the guts of the lamps like katmac. The two other sellers are autorice.com and importvision.com. So they may be available with vac adjust, they might not. I wish I knew for sure.

Also, performance products told me that the new Bosch and Hellas that they sell do not have the vacuum adjust. It seems strange that they would sell Euro lights without it. Did not all Euro cars come with the vacuum adjust feature?

Vacuum adjust was not standard for all Euro cars.

depo lights for the w201 have the vac adjust, but sometimes the connectors have a thin membrane of plastic blocking the ports. you simply need to punch it out with a small diameter drill bit or nail to fix the problem.

I have a set, along with the clear corners. They are a lot brighter than the NA ones. The fog lights are much better as well.
When I got them, they came with wiring instructions. I dont' actually know about the vac adjust. I didnt' know that existed. The one intersteg thing about them is that they have a blue tinge when viewed during the day from the front. I put the protectors on them as I drive on a lot of gravel.

I am looking at a set of those also. I am wondering about the wiring, the plugs I have seen with them look nothing like the plug in my car now.
