Dead lights

My interior lights no longer work. I'm referring to the ones that light up when you have the parking lights and headlights on: instrument panel, window switches, etc. It's very dark in the car driving at night.

The fuse(s) look fine. What else should I check?

The door switch. That push thing in the door jam. And check the operation of the lights with all four doors. You may find that it is just the driver's door switch not working properly due to corrosion on the switch contacts.

no, he is talking about the lights inside the dash.
it is usually the potentiometer on the dash cluster. most here solder a bypass on the thing.
you have to pull the speedo cluster out to get to it.

Jiggling the trip meter reset button which is also the dimmer switch for those lights might get them to come back on.

This did it! Awesome. I had no idea that was the dimmer switch! I turned that bad boy and I'm all lit up. It was in a position that was "dead". Thanks for the help!
